About Me

Hello! I am Amisha, a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). I am affiliated with ETAD (Engaging Technology and Application Design) and TLC (Teaching and Learning in Computing) Lab at UCI, currently being advised by Dr. Sergio Gago-Masague.

Ongoing Work and Research Interests,

  • Fair, Distributionally Robust Multimodal Learning for Text–Tabular Fusion.
  • Integrating Fairness-aware frameworks in Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience working in Neuro-symbolic networks (KANs) and Deep learning frameworks for robust fair learning techniques.
  • Developing Representation learning techniques to mitigate algorithmic bias.
