About Me

Hello! I am Amisha, an Applied Scientist at Amazon Last Mile Science.

I completed my PhD in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), affiliated with ETAD (Engaging Technology and Application Design) and TLC (Teaching and Learning in Computing) Lab at UCI, advised by Dr. Sergio Gago-Masague.

Ongoing Work and Research Interests,

  • Fair, Distributionally Robust Multimodal Learning.
  • Integrating Fairness-aware frameworks in Large Language Models (LLMs).
  • Experience working in Neuro-symbolic networks (KANs) and Deep learning frameworks for robust fair learning techniques.
  • Developing Representation learning techniques to mitigate algorithmic bias.
